ARRIVAL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT OR BY FOOT

Due to its location at Europaplatz 1, 4020 Linz, our building is perfectly connected to the public transport network. The nearest bus stops (bus stop "Europaplatz") are about 200m away. The distance to Linz main station is just under 2 km.

The following bus lines run from the main station to Europaplatz - Design Center Linz:

Line 12 (direction Linz / Donau Karlhof).

Line 17 (direction Linz / Donau Fernheizkraftwerk)

Line 72 (direction Linz / Donau Schiffswerft)

Line 73 (direction Linz / Donau Fernheizkraftwerk)

You can get to the city centre (Landstraße, Hauptplatz,...) via tram lines 1, 2 and 3, from Goethekreuzung.

LINZ/HÖRSCHING AIRPORT

The Linz airport in Hörsching, is 14km from the centre of Linz. Airport bus no. 601 connects Linz city centre with the airport in 19 minutes. As the airport bus does not run on Sundays, there is the option of using the free shuttle to Hörsching station.

VIENNA AIRPORT

The Vienna-Schwechat airport can be reached from Linz main station by direct express train in 1h 45min.

ARRIVAL & PARKING

UNDERGROUND PARKING & PAID PARKING IN OUTDOOR AREAS

A1 - exit Linz - exit Prinz-Eugen-Straße - turn left at the 4th traffic light - follow the signs to the Design Center Linz Garage or our car park 500m away. There you will find an underground parking possibility with 240 parking spaces for a fee as well as an outdoor parking area with 240 parking spaces. Depending on requirements, buses can also be parked in the outdoors, but no more than 15 buses (80 car parking spaces are not available here).

Prices: € 1,00 per half hour, but a maximum of € 20,- per day. For trucks and buses, as well as cars over three metres high, € 2.00 per half hour.

PARKING SPACES FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES        

There are six parking spaces in the underground parking area and further five in the outdoor parking area.

E-FUELLING STATIONS POWERED BY LINZ AG

Visitors arriving with their e-vehicles have the option of using our e-fuelling stations at Linz AG rates. The parking spaces are marked in green and indicated by an information sign. Payment is possible with the LinzAG card, all ATMs and credit cards. At the moment there are four parking spaces outside and two in the underground parking area.

FOR HOSTS

Participants can validate and pay for the parking ticket themselves at a pay station. If you would like to pay the parking costs for your visitors, you will receive the desired number of parking tickets in advance, which we will then invoice to you.
